Devotional From The Sermon: Consistent Love

Devotional:

One of the most remarkable truths in Lamentations 3 is that God’s mercies are new every morning. His love does not grow stale. It does not lose its potency over time. Every morning you open your eyes is a fresh invitation to experience the love of God as though for the first time. The danger for many believers is that while God’s love remains new, our response to it can grow routine and cold. We drift from the fire of our first love into the dull familiarity of religious habit. Today, do not simply go through the motions. Respond to the invitation. Come to Him not out of obligation but out of a genuine desire to encounter the God who is, even now, crazy about you.
