Devotional:

People will disappoint you. Not because they do not love you, but because they are human and humans have limits. The disciples loved Jesus deeply, yet they could not carry what he was carrying. When Jesus found them sleeping, he did not cancel them. He returned to prayer. This is a word for anyone who has been let down by someone they counted on. Disappointment is real, but it does not have to be the final destination. Rather than allowing the limitations of others to become the ceiling of your faith, let those moments redirect you back to the One who never sleeps and never grows weary.
