2026 Thanksgiving Meal Distribution

This Thanksgiving, Baptist Grove Church’s Life Harvest Food Pantry is excited to share the love of Christ by providing Thanksgiving meals to 320 families in our community!

Thanks to a generous donation from Butterball, all 320 turkeys have been provided! With the support of our BGC family, we’re working to provide the remaining items needed to make each Thanksgiving meal complete.

Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Location: Baptist Grove Church

Distribution Format: Drive-Through

This year’s distribution will follow the same format as last year. Thanksgiving meals will be prepacked and distributed directly to guests in their vehicles.

Donation Drop-Off Information

Donations may be dropped off at the Baptist Grove Church MUF during our scheduled collection times.

Donation Drop-Off Schedule:

• Friday, 11/6 – 5:00PM – 5:50PM
• Saturday, 11/7 – 10:00AM – 12:00PM
• Sunday, 11/8 – 7:30AM – 8:00AM and 12:00PM – 12:30PM
• Wednesday, 11/11 – 6:30PM – 7:00PM
• Friday, 11/13 – 5:00PM – 5:50PM
• Saturday, 11/14 – 10:00AM – 12:00PM
• Sunday 11/15 – 7:30AM – 8:00AM and 12:00PM – 12:30PM

Please use the designated drop-off area during scheduled collection times.

Volunteer Opportunities

We need helping hands to make this year’s Thanksgiving Meal Distribution a success!

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Donation Collection: Receive donated food items.
• Inventory: Sort, count, and organize donations.
• Packing Party Setup: Prepare the area and supplies for packing.
• Packing Party: Assemble Thanksgiving meal bags.
• Registration: Welcome guests and assist with check-in.
• Parking and Line Attendants: Direct vehicles and assist with traffic flow.
• Distribution: Load Thanksgiving meals into guest vehicles.
• Team Leads: Help coordinate volunteers and support distribution activities.
