Welcome to Discovery Kids!

Discovery Kids meets for worship every 1st–3rd Sunday at 10:00 AM in the white building | Check-in begins at 9:45 AM.

Discovery Kids is committed to the spiritual growth of children from toddlers (ages 1-3) through 5th grade. Discovery Kids uses creative programming rooted in a safe, nurturing environment to help children discover who God is and what God expects of them. Children will experience energetic worship and explore Bible stories through interactive learning.

We love kids at BGC, and we love teaching them about Jesus in fun and compelling ways. Your kids will sing and worship, play instructive games, and create crafts with other kids, all while making some friendships along the way!

Children’s Bible Study

As we continue to walk together in God’s Word, our bi-weekly Children’s Bible Study over Zoom will now be shared through a weekly asynchronous video designed to support Pastor’s Bible Studies. Some weeks the lesson will connect directly, while other weeks children will be introduced to new biblical principles rooted in Scripture! We invite families to look out for the weekly video and engage together as our children grow in faith and understanding.

The Toddler Room is Open!

The Toddler Room is open on Sundays at 10am for ages 1-3 years old! Spaces are limited!  Arrive to service early to get your child checked in for worship.

The Crossover

Starting May 2026, Discovery Kids will be launching The Crossover, an intentional discipleship experience designed specifically for 4th and 5th graders who are navigating the “in-between” stage of growing up—no longer little kids, but not quite teens yet. Meeting on 1st–3rd Sundays during children’s church at 10AM, this new program creates a more focused and age-appropriate environment for faith maturation! Through engaging lessons, meaningful conversations, and intentional community, The Crossover aims to help preteens deepen their faith, build confidence, and prepare for the next step in their spiritual journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

We welcome children ages 1 – through 5th grade will be provided a safe and nurturing age-appropriate classroom lead by fully approved Kids volunteers.

Service begins at 10am. Check-in at 9:45 and pick up your child immediately after service.

The BGC security team is in the facility with the children and youth during the entire service.

All of our volunteers have approved background checks and training before they work with your children. 

  • Toddlers: 1:3
  • Pre-K: 1:6
  • Grades 1-5: 1:13

Yes, we provide nut-free snacks.

Yes. Children who have been baptized are offered communion.

We will attempt to reach you via phone first. You will also be given a number that will appear on the screen in the main sanctuary if there is an emergency.
