About

The Life Harvest Food Pantry at BGC is committed to sharing the love of Christ and doing our part to fight food insecurity. We provide food, hygiene, and household items to those in need within our community. The Life Harvest food pantry is open to members and non-members of Baptist Grove Church.

The Life Harvest Food Pantry plays a pivotal role in addressing food insecurity. This sustained food distribution effort provides consistent, nutritious meals to families in need by partnering with local farms and grocers, and mobilizing volunteers to distribute fresh produce, pantry staples, and culturally relevant food items. Rooted in the church’s commitment to addressing the pillars of food insecurity, the pantry also fosters community engagement, raises awareness.

Through these efforts, the Life Harvest Food Pantry stands as a beacon of hope, ensuring that no family goes hungry and that the church’s outreach reflects the heart of Christ’s teachings.

Hours of Operation

10:00 am – 11:00 am

January – October: 2nd & 4th Saturdays

November & December: 1st and 3rd Saturdays

Frequently Asked Questions

Baptist Grove Church membership is not required for assistance. LIFE Harvest Food Pantry is open to all, both members and non-members.

Please bring any form of ID to sign in; no other paperwork is required.

A guest can utilize LHFP twice each month.

Guests will receive a two-week supply of groceries. 

Upon arrival, you will enter the pantry and a LHFP Volunteer will check you in. You will be asked for your name and ID.  If it is your first time receiving a distribution from the LHFP, you will be asked to register and provide your address, demographic, and household information. If there are any additional needs or food restrictions, please let our volunteers know. Once you have completed check-in, a volunteer will assist you with your shopping  and help load your groceries in your car. Volunteers are also ready and willing to pray with all guests upon request. Prayer is not required for assistance.

Donations allow us to serve our community. Below are several ways you can donate to the Life Harvest Food Pantry.

Choose items from our Amazon Wishlists for food, household, hygiene, and children’s items and have them delivered directly to BGC.

Shop and

Drop

Shop our grocery list at your favorite local grocery store and drop the items off at BGC. Donations are accepted on 2nd & 4th Saturdays, 9-10am.

Monetary Donations

Online: Select the LHFP option in the drop down menu and type in your donation amount.
By Mail: Send to P O Box 80665, Raleigh, NC 27623 with LHFP in the memo.

Volunteer At LHFP!
