Sermon Title: A Comeback From Hell on Earth

Reading: Ephesians 6:10-18

Many believers live defeated lives because they don’t recognize the spiritual warfare raging around them. Like the people of Guam who mistook gunfire for a greeting, we often misinterpret the enemy’s attacks. Paul reminds us that our struggle isn’t against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness. The first step to victory is awareness.

Today, ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to the true nature of your struggles. Are anxiety, depression, or destructive patterns simply personality traits, or could they be spiritual strongholds? Put on the full armor of God—not as a religious ritual, but as a daily declaration that you belong to Christ and stand under His protection and authority.

• As you look at your current struggles, which ones might be more than personality or circumstance and may involve a spiritual stronghold?
• Which piece of the armor of God do you tend to neglect most, and how can you intentionally “put it on” today?
