Sermon Series: The Christ of a Comeback
Sermon Title: A Comeback from Fear
Reading: John 20:21-22; 2 Corinthians 1:3-7
“As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” Your survival has purpose. Your scars carry assignment. Jesus showed His wounds not to elicit pity but to demonstrate identification and victory. You didn’t just survive for yourself—you’re sent to others still locked in their fears. Your testimony of God’s faithfulness becomes someone else’s hope. Your breakthrough becomes their blueprint. The comfort you received equips you to comfort others. Don’t hide your scars; like Jesus, show them as proof that resurrection follows crucifixion. Your darkest season prepared you for your greatest mission. Breathe deeply today—if you’re breathing, you’re still called, still anointed, still sent.
Reflection:
- How can my past pain become purpose for someone else’s freedom?
