Devotional:

“He delivered us…and He will deliver us again.” Paul’s confidence wasn’t based on wishful thinking but on God’s proven faithfulness. When you look back at how God has carried you through past struggles, you gain hope for present challenges. God specializes in encore performances. If He did it before, He can do it again. Your current mountain may seem insurmountable, but remember the Red Seas He’s already parted in your life, the Jericho walls He’s already tumbled, the impossible situations He’s already resolved. Lift your eyes to the hills. Your help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He doesn’t grow weary, His power doesn’t diminish, and His faithfulness never fails.
