Devotional:

Gethsemane was not the end of Jesus’s story, and it is not the end of yours. Because Jesus surrendered to the Father’s will in the garden, because he walked through betrayal, suffering, and death on the cross, God raised him from the dead with all power. The surrender of Gethsemane made way for the victory of resurrection. Every no God has spoken over your prayers, every cup you have had to drink, every season of pressing and pain, is held within a story that ends in the victory of God. You may not see the resurrection from where you are standing today. But the same God who raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your story as well.

Personal Reflection: Where do you need resurrection hope today? Where have you allowed a season of Gethsemane to convince you that the story is over?

Practical Application: Find a trusted fellow believer this week and share one area where you are trusting God through a difficult no. Pray together, choosing to declare together that through it all, you will trust in God and depend upon his Word.
