Devotional:

When Abraham named the mountain, he did not name it after the ram. He named it after the God who provided the ram. The sermon draws this distinction clearly: “The ram is the supply, but the Lord is the supplier. The ram is a resource, but the Lord is the source.” This is a critical lesson for the faith journey. Jobs end. Savings accounts deplete. Connections shift. But the source never runs dry. When you anchor your confidence in the provision rather than the provider, your faith will rise and fall with your circumstances. But when you know the provider personally, your faith remains steady because he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Know the giver more than the gift.
