Description:
Purpose: The First Impressions Ministry is a new ministry that aims to merge the past and present efforts of the Hospitality and Parking ministries into one enhanced conglomerate to welcome and meet the needs of guests and parishioners from the time they enter and exit the church premises.
Scriptural Foundation:
- “Use hospitality one to another without grudging.” (1Peter 4:9)
- ”Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.” (Romans12:13)
- “But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate..” (Titus 1:8)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Check in registrants for in-person worship
- Register individuals if have not registered previously
- Greet and welcome guests before entering sanctuary
- Ensure each guest wears a mask and utilizes hand sanitizer before entrance into sanctuary
Requirements to Serve:
- Friendly individuals
- Ability to smile and greet people with a warm welcome
- Willingness to stand for a period of time to assist with check-in and parishioner needs
- Able to operate an iPad
