LIVING TO SERVE

Volunteer

LIFE Harvest Food Pantry is a customer choice pantry: a model where guests are able to shop for their own groceries based on their families’ needs.
The Food Pantry volunteer team serves LHFP guests through four different roles:

*All volunteers will receive training and tours from LHFP Managers and will receive regular updates from the Outreach Coordinator.

SHOPPERS & LOADERS

Muscles, movement, and a good eye!
Volunteers go shopping for needed items at Interfaith Food Shuttle, our food bank, on 2nd and 4th Fridays at 1pm.

Load groceries into vehicle and transport to BGC.

**This position is ideal for volunteers who have a truck. Some heavy lifting is necessary with this position.

UNLOADERS & STOCKERS

Are you a mover and a shaker? Does working out and spring cleaning every season sound appealing to you? If so, sign up to serve as an unloader and stocker!

Volunteers meet at BGC on 2nd and 4th Fridays at 2:30 pm to unload and stock groceries either purchased at Interfaith Food Shuttle, delivered, or donated.
Volunteers will pull out shopping carts and attend to any organization needed for Saturday’s operation.
