We Run on Donations

You can donate two ways:
1. Shop from our Grocery list
Drop off items the day of operation
(2nd and 4th Saturday) from 9am-10am.
2. Make a Monetary Donation
If giving online, select the LHFP option in the drop-down menu and type your desired amount in the box.

Shoppers & Loaders
Muscles, movement, and a good eye!
Volunteers go shopping for needed items at Interfaith Food Shuttle, our food bank, on 2nd and 4th Fridays at 12:30pm.
Sign for purchases
Load groceries into vehicle and transport to BGC.
**This position is ideal for volunteers who have a truck. Some heavy lifting is necessary with this position.
Grocery Store Shoppers
Can you spot a good deal from a mile away? Is shopping your kind of therapy? Then come shop for us!
Volunteers will shop for needed items at local grocery stores as needed.
Transport groceries to BGC 2nd and 4th Fridays at 1:30pm
**Grocery Store Shoppers will be reimbursed for shopping within a weeks period following submission of their PO request with receipts.


Unloaders & Stockers
Are you a mover and a shaker? Does working out and spring cleaning every season sound appealing to you? If so, sign up to serve as an unloader and stocker!
Volunteers meet at BGC on 2nd and 4th Fridays at 1:30 pm to unload and stock groceries either purchased at Interfaith Food Shuttle, delivered, or donated.
Volunteers will pull out shopping carts and attend to any organization needed for Saturday’s operation.
Guest Support Specialist
Is hospitality a strength of yours? Do you love to help people and see them smile? Then we’d love to have you serve on this team! Those who are bilingual are an additional asset!
Volunteers arrive at 8:45am for prayer and prep.
Greet and check-in guests upon their arrival.
Guide guests through pantry and help bag selected groceries.
**For safety precautions during COVID, guests will remain in their cars and groceries will be delivered curbside.
Offer prayer if desired from guests.
Help with shutting down for the day.

What are your hours of operation
LHFP is open every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 10 am-11 am except for holidays. Please see the calendar for dates and times.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring any form of ID to sign in; no other paperwork is required.
Do I have to be a member to utilize the food pantry?
Baptist Grove Church membership is not required for assistance. LIFE Harvest Food Pantry is open to all, both members and non-members.
How often can I utilize the pantry?
A guest can utilize LHFP once each month.
How much food will I receive?
Guests will receive a two-week supply of groceries.
