Volunteer Job Description:

Scripture Foundation: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8 ESV)

Ministry Goal: Our vision is a future where the Church puts their faith in action and becomes the leading force for Social Justice.

Mission Statement: The Social Justice Ministry empowers the members of Baptist Grove Church to participate in changing their community by providing information and programming that addresses current issues in social justice.

Volunteer Needs: Our goal is to maximize our impact while serving and defending social justice in our community. As a volunteer, one can expect opportunities to participate in targeted committees for job training and wage equity, narrowing the education gap, increasing the voice and voting power of underserved populations, and more. These opportunities include behind-the-scenes and on-the-ground activities.

Requirements to Serve: A willing spirit! 

Time Commitment: Varies based on event

Spiritual Gifts Alignment:  The mission of the Social Justice Ministry is broad enough and the is need great enough to encompass all spiritual gifts and skillsets making the Social Justice Ministry one of the more diverse ministries at BGC.
