Volunteer Job Description:

Purpose: 

The Usher Ministry serves to ensure worship is welcoming in order that God’s people may be empowered, transformed, and encouraged through the worship experience.

Scriptural Foundation: 

And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God, the Father through him.” (Colossians 3:17)

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Seat and support the worshipers and their needs during service so that they all may have a comfortable experience.

Requirements to Serve: 

  • Friendly demeanor, courteous, humble, and tactful 
  • Have a positive attitude toward ushering that glorifies God

Volunteer Needs: 

  • Ushers for 8am service
  • Ushers for 10am service

Time Commitment

  • 2 hours on Sunday’s you are scheduled to serve 
  • 1 hour for Usher Ministry Meeting/Trainings
