Music Ministry

Worship

The Music Ministry of Baptist Grove Church believes that God should be worshiped through biblically inspired music and song. Since music plays such a crucial role in worship, the choirs of BGC strive to minister songs that speak the word of God to the congregation, and songs that speak the heart of the congregation to God. We invite you to prayerfully consider the component of Music Ministry if you have been given the gift to sing or play an instrument.

If you have a love of the Lord coupled with the ability to retain and sing a specific part (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone) please contact Rev. Allen Brown by email or phone at 919-787-4528 about serving in one of our choirs.

Voices of Praise (VOP)

Ministers each first Sunday for the 8:00 AM and the 10:00 AM services. 

Rehearsals are each Thursday night from 7:00 – 8:25 AM services.

Senior Choir

Ministers each second Sunday for the 10:00 AM services. 

Rehearsals are on the two Saturdays prior to the second Sunday from 9:00 – 11:00 AM.

Male Chorus

Ministers each third Sunday for the 8:00 AM and the 10:00 AM services. 

Rehearsals are Saturday before the 2nd Sunday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Thursday before the 3rd Sunday from 7 to 8:30, and Saturday before the 3rd Sunday from 9 to 10:30.

Youth & Children's Choir

(ages 5-18)

Ministers each fourth Sunday for the 8:00 AM and the 10:00 AM services. 

Rehearsals are the third and fourth Saturdays | 10:00 AM
